Become a licensed Certified Public Bookkeeper or CPB.
Consortia is a registered Postsecondary Proprietary School providing post-secondary education for educational, vocational, or professional objectives.

- Part or full-time bookkeeping position with Consortia Small Business Accountants,

- Part or full-time bookkeeping position with a Consortia client or Network member, or
- Part or full-time bookkeeping position with a small business.
Prerequisites
The following is required before starting the Program.
- Complete or substitute the Accounting Fundamentals course.
- Take and pass the Bookkeeping Certification.
- Complete or substitute the QuickBooks Online Fundamentals course.
- Take and pass the QuickBooks Online Certification.
To substitute a course, you must have completed and passed an equivalent higher education course. To substitute a course, email your course transcript to info@consortia.accountants.

Education Objective
Develop bookkeeping, payroll, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Online Payroll knowledge and understanding.
Courses
- Accounting Fundamentals or course equivalent
- QuickBooks Online Fundamentals or course equivalent
- Payroll Fundamentals or course equivalent (may be completed during bookkeeping experience segment of the program1)
Certification Objective
Communicate and assure employers or clients of your bookkeeping, payroll, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Online Payroll knowledge and understanding.

Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) License Objective
Place CPB behind your name and communicate your bookkeeping knowledge, skill, experience, and ethics to employers or clients.
CPB License
Become a licensed Certified Public Bookkeeper or CPB.
This program completes the CPB license education, certification (examination), and experience requirements.
Support
You are assigned support personnel to assist you with any course, certification, training, experience, or licensing questions.
Notes
- If you complete the Payroll Fundamentals course and take and pass the Payroll Certification exam during the Bookkeeping Experience segment, you can go directly from the Bookkeeping Experience segment to the Payroll Experience segment without interruption.
- You continue to perform bookkeeping and begin to perform payroll processing during the Payroll Experience segment of the program.
Program Fee
Six monthly $500 payments
Important: The Program Fee does not include the education courses and certification exams. It does include training, experience, license, and support.
