The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration has updated local sales and use tax rates, effective January 1, 2025.

Here are the key changes:

  • Barling (Sebastian County): The city's sales and use tax rate will be 0%, down from 1%.
  • Annexations: The following municipalities will annex additional territory: Bebbe (White County), Benton (Saline County), Bentonville (Benton County), Cave Springs (Benton County), Decatur (Benton County), Highfill (Benton County), Lowell (Benton County), Maynard (Randolph County), Pea Ridge (Benton County), Pleasant Plains (Independence County), Rogers (Benton County), Siloam Springs (Benton County), Springdale (Washington County), and Ward (Lonoke County).
  • De-annexations: The following municipalities will de-annex certain territory: Cave Springs (Benton County), Centerton (Benton County), and Rogers (Benton County).

The Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration has updated the following local sales and use tax rate change, effective January 1, 2025: Barling (Sebastian County) has rescinded its existing 1% city rate, and its city rate will be 0%. In addition, the following municipalities will annex additional territory: Bebbe (White County), Benton (Saline County), Bentonville (Benton County), Cave Springs (Benton County), Decatur (Benton County), Highfill (Benton County), Lowell (Benton County), Maynard (Randolph County), Pea Ridge (Benton County), Pleasant Plains (Independence County), Rogers (Benton County), Siloam Springs (Benton County), Springdale (Washington County), and Ward (Lonoke County). The following municipalities will de-annex certain territory: Cave Springs (Benton County), Centerton (Benton County), and Rogers (Benton County).
