New Mexico Albuquerque Minimum Wage Information for 2025

Effective January 1, 2025, the minimum wage rate for the City of Albuquerque will be $12.00 per hour, and the rate for tipped employees will be $7.20 per hour. Both rates are unchanged from 2023. While the City of Albuquerque Minimum Wage Ordinance allows for a reduction of up to $1.00 per hour if an employer offers certain benefits to its employees, the minimum wage rate set by the New Mexico Minimum Wage Act cannot fall below $12.00 per hour.
